Arctic Circle has changed some over the past 50 years. Since opening
our first store in Salt Lake City, Utah, we've grown to include
26 company stores and 57 franchisees in eight Western states.
But some things haven't changed, like our commitment to providing the best, most original fast food possible. For example, we invented fry sauce, kid's meals, lime squeezes, and chocolate-dipped ice cream cones (Brown Toppers). And we keep on coming up with original good stuff, like our fresh real halibut, tasty taco salads, and unbeatable Black Angus beef on all of our burgers.
At the helm of Arctic Circle is Gary Roberts, who has been CEO since 1988. Under his leadership, Arctic Circle has added more than 30 new stores and dramatically increased sales. In addition, his commitment to the community has resulted in Arctic Circle raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for March of Dimes and other charitable organizations.
